How We Diagnose a Liebherr

A temperature alarm tells you the compartment is out of range, but it does not say why, and on a multi-zone Vinidor the answer depends on which zone is complaining. One zone drifting while the other holds is a strong signal: the sealed system serving both is doing its job, so we look at that zone's fan, its thermistor, and its damper rather than at the compressor. Two zones failing together points somewhere else entirely.
The BioFresh and NoFrost systems each bring their own logic. NoFrost sections depend on a defrost cycle running properly, and when the heater or its thermostat fails, frost accumulates on the evaporator until airflow stops. The compartment then goes warm while the compressor runs continuously, which reads exactly like a refrigerant problem to anyone who has not opened the panel. We check the evaporator before we discuss the sealed system, because a frosted coil is common and a leak is not.
Repair or Replace a Liebherr
Liebherr builds refrigeration and nothing else, and the equipment reflects that focus.
